Thinking of moving to the Big Island?  Why not?   There’s still  plenty of room here!   Hawaii Island is a BIG island, and so big that if you combined all the other Hawaiian islands, you could fit it in ~ Not just once, but twice!  So remember, when you hear  “Big Island”, it doesn’t  mean the island of Oahu where Honolulu is.

The size of Big Island is over 4,000 square miles (pop.* 185,079)and  is also the largest island in the entire United States . It is bigger than Kodiak Island (pop. 13,592),  Long Island (pop. 7,568,304)  and even Puerto Rico (pop. 3,978,702).  Hawaii County’s population has grown by 25% from the  last census 10 years ago.

People around the world know that we have something special here.  
According to Travel + Leisure Magazine, Hawaiian Islands ranked No.7 for the “Best Islands In The World”, and  ranked No.1 among all of the Hawaiian Islands.    

Hawaii Island has a diverse collection of micro-environments.  Your choice of weather preference is amazing, as the climatic contrasts stretches across our 7 main regions: Kona , Hilo , Kohala Coast , North Kohala , Hamakua Coast, Puna and Ka’u.  

The Big Island is filled with facinating natural beauty and cultural history.  If you have never been  to the Big Island, then come and see for yourself.  You can actually see this beautiful island with it’s stunning distinct regions within the span of a day’s drive and   a tankful of gas.  You may decide to stay for a while.  If you do, then call me and Ill help you find  a perfect home on the island.
